CONDITIONS FOR THE ADMISSION OF THE PATIENT TO THE HOSTEL
Be an oncological, self-sufficient, and ambulatory patient.

Facilities

– The Hostel is a complex of four buildings with a capacity of 100 beds and is fully equipped.
– Accommodation in single or double rooms.
– Full and personalized diet.
– Nursing care and support 24 hours a day.
– Cleaning assistance.
– 24-hour security staff.
– Lending library.
– Recreation and leisure events.
– Outdoor seating area in the garden.
– Free Wi-Fi.
– TV in each lounge.
– Parking.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE TO THE HOSTEL

– The Guesthouse can accommodate patients of the THEAGENEIO Hospital as well as oncology patients of other hospitals of Thessaloniki. A certificate from the doctor. Patient escorts are also accepted.
– Every week the re-admission to the Hostel is obligatory.

PATIENTS OF THEAGENEIO

– Basement: Office 14 (Radiotherapy) for admission consultation.
– Ground floor: Secretary of the Outpatient Clinic (tickets) for issuing the ticket.
– Pylaia Guesthouse: on arrival inform the staff of your admission.

PATIENTS FROM OTHER HOSPITALS

– Ground floor: Secretary of the Outpatient Clinics to open the file and be given a registration number.
– 2nd floor: M.E.T. – Pain Clinic. Give your attending physician’s referral to be given the referral for your admission to the Hostel.
– Ground floor: Secretary of the Outpatient Clinic (tickets) to issue the ticket.
– Pylaia Hostel: On arrival, you inform the staff of your admission.

ACCOMMODATION FOR ACCOMPANYING PERSONS.

Patient escorts can stay at the Hostel for 20€ per day.
The price includes three meals breakfast – lunch – dinner.
Payment is made at the cashier of the A.N.T.TH Theagenio, before their transfer to the Hostel.

OBLIGATIONS OF PATIENTS AND ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

Obligations

– Compliance with the Common Quiet hours and visiting hours.
– Compliance with the rules of operation of the guesthouse.
– Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed areas.
– Preparing food in the guesthouse is prohibited.
– Keeping the Hostel premises clean and on the property of the Hostel.
– Cooperate with the staff for your best service.

USEFUL INFORMATION

Information
– You are not allowed to leave the Hostel without informing the staff
– Patients are only allowed to leave the Hostel with a doctor’s permission.
– Food is served in the Dining Hall.
– By calling the number 9 from your room telephone, you can contact the hostel staff.

TRANSPORTATION TO THE PYLAIA HOSTEL

You can get to the guesthouse:
– By your own transport.
– By taxi.
– With the buses of line 11B of OASTH (Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization). The stop for the Guesthouse is at Papanastasiou Street, opposite the Theagenio Hospital.
