You are between 18-65 years old.
You are between 18 and 18-65 years of age, weighing over 50 kg.
If you are healthy and symptom free, even from a simple cold, and have not taken any antibiotics in the last 7 days.
If you do not have a serious health problem (heart disease, cancer, bleeding disorder, epilepsy, hepatitis, etc.).
If you have not had any major surgery in the last six months.
If you have not had a tattoo or piercing in the last six months.

You can give blood every three months.
Careful and honest completion of the questionnaire safeguards not only the future recipient of the blood, but also the donor.
The amount of blood you give is about 450ml. The blood volume (plasma) is replenished within 24 hours, the red blood cells within the next 3-4 days and the iron within 6-8 weeks.

The blood you donate is kept for 35 or 42 days and is tested for hepatitis B and C, HIV and syphilis (in case of positive or doubtful results, you are confidentially informed for a retest by mail or on the phone number you have left for contact).
Disposable sterile materials are used for each blood donation.
By donating one unit of blood you can save three lives.
Research has shown that 75% of the population may need blood at some point in their lives, while only 1.5% of the population are blood donors.
Systematic volunteer blood donors are a safer source of blood than replacement donors.
